ProgressNode Software Consulting Co., Ltd. (UBN 46176403, Representative Chen Hao-Chen) offers paid programming consulting. This policy explains cancellations, refunds, and the statutory context for distance contracts in Taiwan.
Distance-selling context
Under the Consumer Protection Act, consumers generally have a seven-day cooling-off period for distance contracts. Consulting services that have already been performed with your prior consent may be excluded from withdrawal once work at your request has begun. Digital deliverables consumed immediately may also be excluded when you agreed to early performance.
Before work starts
If you cancel a signed statement of work before we begin billable work, we refund any prepaid deposit minus documented third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (licenses, paid API credits explicitly ordered for your project).
After work has started
Fees for completed milestones, review hours already delivered, or engineering days logged against your approval are non-refundable. Remaining prepaid amounts for undelivered milestones may be refunded or credited toward a revised scope.
How to request a refund
Email info@progressnode.digital or call +886-6-0000-2214 with your company name, statement-of-work reference, and reason for the request. We acknowledge within three business days and aim to process approved refunds within 14 business days to the original payment method.
Rescheduling
Kickoff dates may be moved once without penalty if requested at least five business days before the scheduled start and the new date is within 60 days.
Disputes
We prefer good-faith resolution. If we cannot resolve a billing disagreement, you may pursue remedies available under Taiwanese consumer and contract law.
